One Top Two Ways

Or date night...

Tank // Shorts (like these) // Jeans (more affordable option) // Boots // Heels // Sunglasses // Lip Gloss

Hello and welcome back to Wear It Wednesday!

Several weeks ago I shot a date night out look with this black tank and distressed jeans, but had yet to publish the post. This past weekend I ended up wearing the same tank with shorts for a day date and thought I might as well combine them to show one top two ways. I always have my wardrobe favorites I wear over and over and over - and I feel like this shirt is quickly becoming one of them. The best part? This super cute high-low tank from Target is only $12.99 and comes in a variety of colors (and it's still in stores). Beware when drying though. I accidentally shrunk mine and now the front is quite a bit shorter but I still think it's just as cute (and luckily it was affordable)

I paired the tank with distressed skinny jeans and fringe heels for date night, since it's a little more dressy and heels are my go to for EVERY date night. For our day date I paired it with white shorts and fringe booties, also from Target. It was super hot last weekend so pants were out of the question in the middle of the day. I also love that this tank is loose enough to be comfortable, but the cut out in the back makes me feel rather sexy. The higher neck line in the front keeps it from being too "showy" or "seductive."

If you enjoyed this "one top two ways" let me know and I'll make sure to come up with more!

I almost forgot to write this post last night, because I'm still a day behind thanks to the long holiday weekend. But luckily it means it's one day closer to the weekend! And it's supposed to be a ridiculous 106 degrees Friday and Saturday...so I'm already prepping the sunscreen, oversized shades and shorts. We're attending a baseball game with friends and I'm not sure we'll make it the entire game, or even an entire hour. For fun, I'll be testing out my Loreal Sublime Bronze Bronzer Express - it's supposed to be sweat resistant so I'm going to put it to the true test. If it fails, I'll be a giant puddle of self tan, so let's hope not!
