Articles of Society + Snapchat

Articles of Society Jean (c/o) // Tee // Shoes (25% off) // Shades (only $12) // Hat (also got this one)

I've been wearing Articles of Society jeans for quite some time now. They fit like a dream, are affordable, come in lots of colors and styles, and this pair in particular is incredibly soft. Their new super soft ankle Sarah Skinny Jean fit's like a glove and, like it's description implies, is super soft. I wore these traveling to Kentucky and back for a combined 14+ hours of travel, and never felt uncomfortable. Plus, these jeans are great for women of different heights. If you're taller, they will hit right at the ankle, and if you are shorter, you can easily roll or can hem them at a small cost. These jeans are only available at Nordstrom and if you're a cardholder your alterations may even be free!

Snapchat Takeover coming this weekend! Saturday and Sunday I will be taking over Articles of Society's snapchat and I'd love if you would follow along. Their Snapchat username is >> aosdenim <<. You'll have a chance to follow Justin and I while we take photos, travel, love on Heidi, eat & drink, and of course, wear my favorite AOS jeans!

We took these pictures in downtown Lexington, Kentucky and it was so nice to be home for a short while. The city has grown and changed so much! I wish we could have stayed longer, because as we were taking these pictures I spotted numerous restaurants I wanted to try. On a funny note: a lot of you noticed I wore my hair wavy in the Instagram photo I posted yesterday and your comments were so sweet. I actually didn't have much of a choice, as my new ghd straightener broke while I was getting ready for these pics. I was so sad!

  1. If you don't mind me asking, what size did you take in these jeans? Would you say they run true to size, smaller, or larger? Thanks!!

    1. Holly, I ordered mine in a 24. I'm usually a 24 or 25 in jeans, depending on the stretch of the jean. These fit perfecting in a 24 and have enough stretch to make them very comfortable. I would order true to size! :)

  2. I love the simple distressing of these jeans...so cute and chic without being too distracting or trendy. Comfort is so important in jeans. I have a few pairs that I can literally do the splits in. And then there's other ones that I can barely do a squat in. So when you find a pair that you love, you stick to them! Btw I mentioned this on your Instagram but I love your hair that way. It's sooooo cute and effortless. You should wear your hair like that more often. Sorry about your GHD. I know that must be so frustrating. I've had the same Conair one for five years and it's still going strong (knock on wood)....I know I should probably upgrade to a "big girl" flat iron. Do you find the ghd is better quality than a Chi? I have fine and really dry hair if that makes a difference.

    XO, Kate

    1. Thank you Kate! I ended up really liking my hair wavy too and I bought a baby travel straightener that I think will make curling my short hair much easier! And I do prefer GHD over CHI. I would say they are comparable, but my GHD seemed to stay hot longer and I'm hoping this last issue was just a fluke!
