Hopeless Romantic

Floral Top (c/o) // Shorts // Sunglasses // Bag // Lipstick (mac creme de nude)

Happy Friday Friends!

Today's post is full of fashion, style, floral, and lots of August favorites. The top I'm wearing above is from Cali's Collections and is called the Hopeless Romantic Top. Originally I was going to pair it with skinny white jeans, but after I put it on I absolutely loved it as a baby doll dress and wore it for a date night out. I did wear white distressed shorts underneath just in case! As the weather gets cooler I plan to wear it with skinny jeans and booties. I loveee the detailing of the ruffles and the colors are a perfect fit for my fall palette. Plus, it's great quality!

Make sure to visit the shop on Instagram at Calis_Collections or online here. Summer styles are 30% off with the code LABORDAY.

And now, on to my August favorites! Remember, you can shop the items below.

1 // Hairbrush I finally replaced my hairbrush with a nicer version. I love that it's super light and the lemondrop color is too cute! Plus, it didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

2 // Teasing Spray I've owned this dryspun spray for a long time, but only used it as a thickening spray when wearing my hair wavy, to give it more body. Very recently I started using it to spray my roots before teasing, and wow! What a difference it makes! I have to be careful how much I use so I don't make my hair feel dirty, but a little seems to go a long way.

3 // Facial Spray I've gotten to the point I can't live without this facial mist. I use it to hydrate before my foundation and after to help create a luminous finish. I also use it any time I put on eye shadow to intensify the color and to keep it in place longer.

4 // Eye Shadow Palette This is one expensive palette, but the colors and quality are top notch. I've been wearing one of the sparkly bronze shades daily and loveee that it sparkles while still being work appropriate. To apply, I dip my brush into the shadow and then spritz it with my facial spray.

5 // Highlighter This may be my favorite highlight of all time! Yes, all time! I realized I didn't own a pink toned highlighter (gasp) so I picked this one up and it was love (insert heart eye emoji). I actually think I'll hit pan sooner than any other product I own, because I use it so frequently and I use so much.

6 // Eye Brightener Using a white/cream eyeliner on your waterline creates a brightness to the eyes. I love to use this early in the morning so that I look a little more awake. This one is from the drugstore, super affordable, and stays on for quite a while.

7 // Setting Powder This is my favorite powder of allll time! I've gone through so many and have never found a powder to rival it. It doesn't leave a white caste on my skin in pictures, and keeps me matte. I always put this under my eye and around my nose to keep my skin from getting oily throughout the day. Everyone needs this in their life!

8 // Coffee Drink I cannot tell you how exciting it was to find a dairy-free drink I love. Since going lactose-free a couple weeks ago, I've been on the hunt for a Starbucks coffee I actually like. I tried coffee with coconut milk (yuck!), coffee with almond milk (slightly better), and iced coffee with similar variations. Finally I tried a Soy Vanilla Latte and oh. em. gee. Delicious! Now I'm addicted and am spending way too much money at Starbucks on my way to work, but what can I say, it makes my morning!

9 // This Booty I got sooo lucky snagging the last pair of these booties, and they just happened to be my size. No worries, they are completely stocked online, but I wanted instant gratification (like always). FYI about the sizing: they run pretty narrow. Most people in their reviews said they had to size up, but I have very narrow feet and my usual size fit perfectly. Keep in mind, you won't be wearing socks so you want them to be a little snug.

10 // This Booty Okay, if you buy any booties this season or year, you want these! Sooo comfortable and so cute! Ive been wearing them to work and cannot get enough! Great with dresses, skinny jeans, or flared jeans. And the soles are like pillows for your feet. Totally worth the splurge!
