SHOP THE POST

Hello, Friends, hello, Monday!

I've been loving several items lately and thought I'd share them with you today. I've linked them above and am sharing why they're worth buying below. Many of the items I took with me on my recent trip and others I'm obsessing over for summer.

1. Black Ruffle Top // I snagged this adorable ruffle top before Justin and I went on our big cross country trip as an option for a travel outfit. I love the detailing and have been wearing it with the front tucked in. They also sell it in petite which I probably should have purchased but since I love the oversized look, I'm okay with the regular. It would make a great work top too, worn with skinny pants and pumps. They also make a hot pink I'd love to get my hands on!

2. All Over Face Powder // I've been using the same translucent powder for years now, and even though I still use it and love it, I wanted something with a little bit of color. I love it for during the day when I need to touch up and don't want to loose any of my coverage. Plus, this powder has luminescent properties, making the face look luminous and glowy. I've been keeping it in my purse with a medium-size powder brush.

3. Tassel Earrings // I tried these on a couple weeks ago and have had reverse buyers remorse ever since. I went back to purchase them online but the bright pink was sold out until now. They also have red, turquoise, and coral. I plan on ordering this week so I can wear them all summer long with my simple white tees and off the shoulder tops. I also love that they are relatively lightweight!

4. Baby Pink Nail Polish // If there ever was a "my perfect nail color" this is it! I scoured the stores for an opaque baby pink and finally stumbled upon this one called "piece of cake" which is so fitting because I purchased it for a wedding. Now I plan to wear it until the bottle runs out which never ever happens. It's a great color for spring, summer, fall, and winter, and is appropriate enough for all occasions and work. Plus, the quality is great!

5. Total Tease Mascara // I am incredibly picky when it comes to mascara as many of you may know. I've been wearing the same three tubes for years and tried various others in between. While picking up a few things the other day I saw Total Tease in its black and light pink packaging and was totally sold lol. Thankfully, it's a fantastic mascara and even has a dual sided brush. One side for application and another to comb through clumps and reach harder places to apply like the corner of the eye. Highly recommend!

6, White Peplum Tee // This was another travel pick. I shared a more fitted white peplum tee last week that I love equally but for different reasons. This top has a laid back, boho feel, and comes in several different colors. I'll be wearing it during the heat wave we're experiencing here in Northern California with denim shorts and sandals. It would look super cute with the tassel earrings!

7. Perfect Travel Cape // Okay, out of all the pieces I purchased for traveling, this one, hands down, was the best! Seriously. I wanted a shawl type item I could throw over my top on the airplane. Something that would take up less room in my tote and be easy to take on and off quickly. I ended up wearing it almost every day, as the nights were quite cold at the wedding we attended, and it paired perfectly with a cocktail dress. I bought mine in black but love the light turquoise blue for summer. It would make a great lightweight cover up for days at the lake or on the boat when it's chilly.

8. Animal Print Slide Sandals // I found these online last week and fell head over heels. I've been looking for an affordable, easy to wear, slide on type shoe that's not flip-flops or sneakers. Almost all of them have been too wide for my feet and uncomfortable. These are only $45 so I figured it was too good to be true. The reviews stated they were comfy and also nice and fitted to the foot, so I gave them and try and...Oh, Em Gee...amazing! Soo comfortable and a perfect fit. I normally wear a 7 and sized up to a 7.5 as they only come in half sizes and they run small.

9. Pink Quartz Sandal // Besides the black cape, this is probably the best purchase I've made all season. I wanted a sandal that would go with everything but wasn't nude. I saw this rose quartz color and hadn't seen anything else like it. Plus, Vince Camuto has always been a win for me. Steve Madden makes a similar shoe but sadly they are so uncomfortable. These I wore with every single wedding outfit (minus my black tie dress) and was able to dance the night away with no discomfort.

10. Hot Pink Nail Polish // I put on this polish for the first time Saturday and absolutely loveee the color! Justin said he liked the hints of gold and I told him it was just the top coat shining...until I went outside and realized there are beautiful hints of gold shimmer in the color haha. It's the perfect shade of hot pink that doesn't look like a highlighter. Plus, Deborah Lippmann's formula is really high-quality.

11. Favorite Pink Blush // As many of you already know, I love a pretty pink blush. This one, called Into The Pink, is currently my favorite. It's a mineralize blush so it has luminous properties that give a beautiful highlight to the cheeks. And the color payoff is fabulous!

Have an incredible Monday and come back Wednesday for a style fav!
