Finally, right!? I don't know about you, but my week has been much too long. I've been so excited for this weekend, because my fiance, my family and I are going camping. Or as my mother would say, GLAMPING. I'm definitely not much of an outdoorsman {surprise surprise}, but I can hang in the wild for a day or too. We are packing up our tent, sleeping bags and our fur baby!

But before we leave, let's talk about this beautiful necklace. This week's featured piece is the Tabor Necklace in Lilac. As I have mentioned many times before, I love a tortoise pattern coupled with some bling bling. This is the perfect statement necklace for a chambray shirt tucked underneath the collar. Oh how I wish I could wear Chambray to work! I will be wearing my Tabor Necklace with a crisp white button down, black cropped pants and my black pumps. Make sure to check out this lovely piece of glitz & many others on Southern Belle Glitz's website. As always, you won't be disappointed!

After looking at numerous pictures of Sarah Hyland in her "Best Dressed" Emmy look via Instagram {@therealsarahhyland}, I realized how insanely gorgeous she is. I've always thought she was pretty, but it seems all of a sudden she's bloomed into a beautiful woman. Her Christian Siriano {@csiriano} skirt and crop top were to die for. Absolutely my favorite red carpet look of all time. She paired her outfit with a sock bun and minimal, golden makeup. Her beauty look inspired me to try and replicate the look on myself.

Sarah's makeup was very bronzy & gold and fairly understated, letting her outfit speak for itself. Her golden skin looked beautiful with her gold & bronzed eye shadow. She had very natural falsies and from what I can tell, little to no eye liner. Her lips were a brown nude mauve and her skin had a luminous glow. I normally wear a pretty noticeable highlighter on my cheeks, nose and cupid's bow, but today I only used my Hourglass powder in Diffused Light to achieve Sarah's natural glow. It's a great all over powder that makes the skin look radiant.

Also, quick apology for no post yesterday! It's the first weekday I've missed since I started blogging, but sometimes life is just hectic. Working full-time, part-time, blogging, raising an unruly puppy and striving to be a great fiance sometimes gets the best of me. All of your continued support truly means the world!

Flash Tattoos

If you haven't already heard about them or seen them, FLASH TATTOOS are all the rage! I've seen them all over Instagram and all over YouTube. They are jewelry inspired temporary tattoos for fashionistas everywhere and are designed to last 4-6 days. Remember when press on tattoos were the coolest thing in elementary school!? It seems you'll find the same amusement and pleasure in Flash Tats. The colors are black, silver and gold which look quite luxurious and beautiful on the skin. My biggest problem...which ones to choose!? I think these would be beautiful next year on my honeymoon - hopefully while I lay on the beach with a fruity drink in my hand. You can even wear the bracelets to work, since from afar they don't even look like a tattoo. To learn all of the details about ordering, caring for your tattoo, etc. visit here.

If you've tried Flash Tats please let me know below in the comments!
What trends are you trying this Tuesday?

Chanel Bronzer

Chanel Bronzer
Happy Monday! My apologies for this post being so tardy. We spent the weekend out of town celebrating my mother's retirement and today has been non-stop. I've been excited all day to share one of my newest obsessions. Yes, OBSESSION. In my book, Chanel can do no wrong, but they definitely created a bronzer from heaven with their Soleil Tan de Chanel. My good friend, and blogger, Megan from The Panwar Palace highly recommended this product. The formula and the color are superior to any others I have tried with a similar consistency. For my skin tone, which is light to medium, the color works fabulously as a contour color - not too dark, not too orange.

When using this product I apply my moisturizer, primer, foundation, concealer and all over powder first. After, I apply Chanel's Soleil Tan de Chanel using my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush around the top of my forehead and the hollows of my cheeks. I normally don't apply a cream after powder, but in this case it still applies flawlessly. On a side note, the Expert Face Brush is one of my absolute favorites! Every girl needs this brush in their life. The bristles are very compact which makes it perfect for contouring and precise application. And it's only $8.99!

If you've never tried a product from Chanel before, I highly recommend this for your first. Have a wonderful evening.

To me, there's nothing better than mixing silver, gold & glitter. Like most SBG items, you can dress these pieces up or down - by adding more glitz or keeping it simple. Today's Fancy Friday features some of my favorite pieces that I mix and match on a regular basis. Bracelets featured are here, here & here. State necklace is here and earrings here. Remember to check out Pardon Muah's Perfect Picks!

If you haven't already seen on Instagram. Facebook or YouTube, Southern Belle Glitz has teamed up with well known YouTuber Ciaoobelllaxo & Jordan Cheyenne for a HUGE giveaway! BID DAY Beauty Essentials
In honor of one of the most exciting, stressful, happy, amazing, sisterly, life-changing weeks - SORORITY RECRUITMENT - I've dedicated a special post to looking your best on Bid Day. I tried to pick products that are affordable, good quality, and that protect from the sun & sweat {sunscreen is a must}.

Also known as "white dress day," Bid Day is by far the best day of recruitment week! There are many days that make up the recruitment process {open house, skit day, sisterhood day, preference day, etc.}. Each day leads up to the day you choose your forever sorority. Being Greek is a choice many girls make and many girls don't. To each his own, as we all follow our own path through the crazy world of college. If you do choose Greek life, in my opinion, you won't be disappointed. In each sorority you will find girls just like you, girls unlike you, stereotypes, life-long friends, rules, parties, socials, leadership opportunities, volunteering and many, many meetings. All of these things combine to create your experience and one you won't forget.

My words of advice for girls getting ready to take a huge step into sisterhood? Deep breath! Embrace & enjoy every moment and every experience. At first you will be overwhelmed, but this will all calm down as soon as it begins. Put on your best smile, {take a selfie}, meet a new friend and say hello to BID DAY!

I have to give a BIG shout out to my sorority - Delta Zeta Alpha Theta at the University of Kentucky!

Let's take a trip down Memory Lane...

Creme de Rose

Dior's Creme de Rose is, in my opinion, the world's most luxurious lip balm. After watching numerous YouTube videos featuring this lip product I finally caved. It took me a long time to invest $27 in a lip balm, but it was money well spent. I ordered my lip balm online from Sephora. The way I use this product - in an effort to make it last as long as possible - is to put it on every night before bed. I lather on Creme de Rose and wake up with refreshed, smooth, silky lips. I normally steer away from makeup or lotions that come in containers where you have to dip your fingers into them, because it gets under my nails. But, this is completely different. When you first use the lip balm you press your finger firmly into the contents of the container. It then melts into your finger like butter. A rose scented luxurious lip butter.

Have a wonderful Wednesday ladies!

Once Pardon Muah has 100 followers I'm going to have an exciting giveaway!

Glowy Makeup Look

Yesterday I posted my new Lily Aldridge inspired hair. To see the post click here. I received several requests to create a post featuring the products I used in my pictures. Above are all the beauties I used in my glowy makeup look. These are some of my favorite high-end items and when combined produce a beautiful, flawless glow. Below is a list of all of the items and a short review.

If you would like an in depth review & photos of any of the products listed please let me know in the comments below!
  1. YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat B50 - Officially my favorite foundation! I wear B50 while spray tanning and I love that the color is beige based as opposed to orange based. On my next trip to Sephora I'd like to get my perfect shade for winter. The consistency is light, but easy to build. Your skin will look beautiful, glowing & luminous.
  2. YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch Luminous Radiance 1- I have always wanted this YSL product. It's as beautiful as you would guess. The color I use is a light pink and is very similar to MAC's prep & prime radiant rose, but slightly thinner in consistency. The formula is luxurious and blends very easily.
  3. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Diffused Light - I've purchased two ambient lighting powders {Dim Light & Diffused Light}. Dim light is almost too dark for me so I'm planning to return for Luminous Light on my next trip to Sephora. Diffused Light is a pale yellow tone great for setting under eye concealer or an all over glow.
  4. Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Makeup Bronzing Base - This product was recommended to me by my friend and fellow blogger Megan of The Panwar Palace. The color is gorgeous! It makes the perfect contour color and blends flawlessly into the skin. A little product goes a long way.
  5. Givenchy Blush It-Girl Purple 24 - This blush is the perfect pink! It has become one of my absolute favorites and is a staple for light to medium skin tones. I bought mine at Sephora.
  6. Becca Shimmery Skin Perfector Moonstone - The Becca highlight definitely lives up to it's grand reputation. I bought moonstone which is a pale gold {Opal is also very popular}. A little product is all you need for a dewy, glowing face.
  7. Marc Jacobs Beauty Style Eye-Con No. 7 Plush Shadow The Lolita 206 - Marc Jacobs Beauty has some beautiful products and sleek packaging. I've had my eyes on The Lolita ever since my girlfriend had her makeup done at Sephora and this palette was used. It's a great every day palette full of shimmery and matte shades.
  8. Loreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner - All I wear. Haven't used another liner in months - no joke. You need this liner in your life!
  9. Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Noir 10 - I used to not understand the hype of high-end mascaras, until I tried Chanel's Le Volume. I received this as a sample and OMG! Amazing! My eyelashes have never looked so long and glamorous. Make sure to grab a sample the next time you order from Chanel online.
  10. Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer Brilliance 02 -  This color was not what I thought when it came in the mail. By the looks of the photo online I thought I was ordering a pale pink with some shimmer. What I got was a mauve/purple/pink with lots of opaque shimmer. Fortunately, I still love the color and when has Chanel ever gone wrong?!

Who doesn't love Lily Aldridge!? I think she is one of the most beautiful women in the world and not to mention her hair is to GORGEOUS! This past week I decided to get a fresh haircut & color in preparation for my upcoming engagement photos and for all of the holidays to come the rest of the year. I didn't want any drastic changes in length or color. I found this picture of Lily Aldridge via Pinterest and fell in love with her color. Her caramel highlights pair flawlessly with her overall hair color. Perfect for fall - tailgating, weddings & sweater weather.

My hairstylist Shelley gave me exactly what I asked for. A nice trim, refreshed layers, razored the crown added some beautiful caramel highlights throughout. If you live in Southwest Virginia or the DC area you can check out her Facebook page here. Below are pictures of the finished product.

If you would like a blog post on the glowy makeup I used in these photos please let me know in the comments below! I've acquired several new products lately.

Sparkle Party
Alright ladies, first things first! Twirl Boutique {a bridal boutique} & Southern Belle Glitz will be having a Sparkle Party Saturday, August 23 from 10 am - 2 pm. Twirl Boutique is located in Lexington, KY {121 Clay Avenue} and if you aren't from Kentucky it's still well worth the drive {or the plane ticket in my case}. Twirl is near and dear to my heart, because I recently purchased my wedding gown and all six of my bridesmaids dresses there in May. The experience was one in a million and I can't tell you how happy and flawless the process was. I felt like my bridal experience really mattered and they went above and beyond to make it an experience to remember. Make sure to follow Twirl on Instagram at TWIRLLEX & Southern Belle Glitz at SOUTHERNBELLEGLITZ & of course follow Pardon Muah at PARDONMUAHINSTA.

As you know, Southern Belle Glitz has some amazing, affordable pieces - and she also carries a formal jewelry collection! You're missing out if you don't attend the event next Saturday. There will be so many sparkles. Now on to this week's Fancy Friday!

This Friday I am featuring the Key West Necklace. Ummm gorgeous! The colors in this necklace could not be more perfect. Turquoise & Coral are two of my favorites. The necklace, like many of Southern Belle Glitz's statement necklaces can be worn dressed up or dressed down. I wore it with a peachy sun dress that is work appropriate. The necklace speaks for itself - the only other accessories I wore were my gold watch & engagement ring.

Some more exciting news! Southern Belle Glitz has just added Pardon Muah's Perfect Picks to their website. The page features my favorite arm candy combos and links to the pieces I wear in my photos.

Happy Friday!
