Casual Workwear For Spring

Hello, friends! Happy Hump Day!

Today I thought I would share some fabulous casual workwear for spring. Since I started working for a casual company and now work solely from home (for more on my recent life update you can read the post here), I haven't posted much in the way of work attire. I used to dress up every day for work - no jeans, no open toe shoes, covered, the whole nine yards...so I know how challenging it can be to find cute pieces that are appropriate but not boring. It can be especially hard to incorporate trendy items and styles like tassel earrings in bright colors and ruffles.

Above you'll find a neutral outfit with an on-trend spin that is perfect for the office during spring and summer. A great pair of white jeans is a staple of any wardrobe. I love these so much because they look just as much like pants as they do jeans, making them versatile enough to wear to work. I loveeeee ruffles so I paired my pants with a tan ruffle sleeve top. It's not only cute, it's also comfortable! And for a pop of color, I threw on my new favorite neon yellow tassel earrings (so affordable). A bright hue can change even your mood for the better (I posted about it here). A statement piece of jewelry is fine for work as long as you don't overdo it and everything else you wear is relatively conservative. For more information on how to dress to impress you can read a recent post here

To finish it off, I added some nude patent pumps, and I kid you not, these are my favorite style pump everrr. I've purchased multiple pairs of this same shoe in nude and black because I literally lived in them every day. They are surprisingly comfortable and work well with boyfriend jeans, skirts, and dresses. Every girl needs a pretty nude patent pump in her collection! I also added an oversized pair of tortoise sunglasses because you never know when you'll leave the office for lunch (hopefully every day haha) and for me, they make a great headband once you come back and want your hair out of your face.

Above and below you'll find links to all of the items featured. I've also included a dupe for my top because I believe there's only one size left. But if it's your size, you can get 10% with the code PARDONMUAH! I'm also placing a second SHOP THE SALE widget below because I talked about some sale items on Instastory yesterday and got asked if I would include them in today's post. I'd be happy to do this more if you all are interested! And, of course, you can still enter the $500 Target gift card giveaway below

Have a fantastic Wednesday!

Spring & Summer Must Haves Under $50

Good Morning Beautiful People! I hope your Monday is off to a fabulous start.

If you didn't notice, I took a bit of a break from social media this weekend. I rarely unplug from my computer and phone but felt it was necessary for a short period of time to recharge and spend some quality time with Justing and Heidi. But, today's the start of a new week and I'm rearing and ready to go. Sadly, I have an eye doctor appointment today....well, mostly sad for my wallet. Ever since I moved to California I've been all stocked up on contacts (I bought A LOT before I moved hah). Now I'm running low and have no issues or need to change my prescription, but of course, I can't get them until I have another checkup (the silly one year rule). I understand they need to make sure my eyes are healthy, but an almost $100 extra to "fit me in contacts" when I've been wearing since I was in fifth grade...in addition to the other $100+ for the visit. Uggghh so frustrating!

Anyhow! Enough venting. Today I thought I'd share some amazing spring & summer pieces under $50. All of the links are above and below so you can shop and save some amazing deals. I'm definitely planning to buy the off the shoulder bow tie top with a Nordstrom gift card I have burning a hole in my pocket. And I really want the hat and pom coverup for an upcoming trip to Miami! Can you tell pom poms are totally on trend lol?! And all the bright colors! Love! I'm all about a 95% neutral outfit with a pop of color. It's always fun to pair one stand out accessory or piece with a basic tee and shorts. Speaking of which, there are so many great denim shorts under $50 right now! If you didn't see my denim shorts try on via Instastory this weekend you can check my LiketoKnow.it page for all the links! Oh, and don't forget you still have time to enter the giveaway below.

Hello, hello!

Welcome back to Wear It Wednesday! I'm so excited to share this amazing printed tassel kimono with all of you. It's under $25 and pairs well with a great pair of distressed shorts, a simple white cami, and some versatile black heeled sandals. My shorts are a splurge, but it's because they are such good quality. The majority of denim shorts I own are relatively inexpensive but it's obvious as to why when they bite the dust after a season's worth of washing. These, on the other hand, will last you quite a long time and you can tell the jean fabric is much thicker than normal. I love the way they are shaped to elongate your legs and still cover your behind (two thumbs up!). I plan on wearing this kimono as a swim cover up as well. Justin and I have several warm weathered trips planned this summer and this will fit so nicely into my suitcase but will give enough coverage around the pool.

I talked about my heeled sandals in yesterday's Instastory. They were sent to me several weeks ago and I find myself reaching for them every time I need a black sandal. They are comfortable and fit well on my narrow feet. Neutrals are always my go-to because they are just so easy - you can't go wrong! I threw on a three-tiered choker for a little detail and love the way it turned out. It's super affordable and a great way to add a little pizzazz - even to a nice work outfit. As always, I have on my oversized tortoise sunnies and am carrying a catch all clutch!

You can shop all of these items above or below and don't forget to enter the HUGE giveaway!
