Hopefully, you saw part one of this Halloween post two weeks ago! If not, I will link it HERE so you can check out how I turned myself into a Snapchatfilter. It's so easy!

For part two, I wanted to share some products I picked up at Target perfect for removing makeup, especially when it's on the heavier side. You'll probably need more help than usual getting off lots of costume foundation, falsies, fancy glitter, paint, fake blood lol... you name it lets remove it!

How To Dress Up Boyfriend Jeans

Since I'm a little out of order this week with posts, and Monday's post went up Tuesday, I thought I'd go ahead and get this one up tonight (i.e. Wednesday). And I have another coming Friday all about the Sephora Rouge Sale happening in BOTH October and November! Eeeek! I'm so excited and I've purchased loads of new beauty products lately so I have a lot of new recommendations.

For today, I'm sharing one of my favorite outfit pairings of all time!

Ten Fall Sweaters Under $50

ten sweaters under $50

HAPPY TUESDAY! My apologies for no posts on Friday and Monday. I always overestimate how much time I will have when traveling. I was planning to create both of my posts on the Amtrak train to DC (I was out of office last week Fri - Sun for a meeting, to see my parents, and a birthday) but the service was so spotty that it just didn't happen. The Amtrak experience was great otherwise! I couldn't believe how easy (and affordable!) it was. Less than $80 round trip with insurance, free bags, and even wifi. I've never been a big fan of driving long distances, especially by myself, so this was a great option - definitely planning to see my parents and friends way more now!

Recently, I asked what posts you all would like to see for Fall and holiday and one was sweaters under $50. I found some really cute, versatile options above, and tried to only pick ones with lots of sizing choices available. I own several of these and love all the fun, bright colors this season. Each would look cute worn leggings, skinny jeans, flared jeans, bf jeans, an ankle skinny pant for work, a mini skirt, a midi skirt... you get the idea, so many options. Plus, the styles can also be worn for years to come without looking off trend.

Have a fabulous Tuesday, and stay tuned for more Fall, and soon Holiday (eek!), posts to come!

EEEK! I literally cannot contain my excitement, you guys! I've chomping at the bit to share my Halloween costume and I'm so happy I can finally unveil my creation. If you don't use Snapchat™ or haven't seen this filter, I'm the Flowercrown Mouse! I had so much fun making this costume and love that it actually ended up being super quick and easy to create. It would be a great option for someone in a pinch or without much time! You can even wear your normal clothing like my sweater I paired with to match. I absolutely love the way it turned out!

Boost Seasonal Blues | Fav Little Pick Me Ups

pink shein loose round neck raglan long sleeve ruffle high low hem smock top

It's that time of year again. Where the days get shorter and the sun goes to bed early. Anyone else feel like they feel a slight seasonal depression every year? I definitely do! I always feel more productive early in the morning or when the sun is still up so when the work day is still going but it's dark outside, I instantly feel less productive. All I want to do is lay around and watch holiday TV and eat snacks haha. Plus, we usually have a lot of rain and snow in late Fall and Winter which makes so many days so dark and dreary.

So what do I do to get out of this funk?! Keep reading!

How To Style A Corduroy Skirt For Fall

h&m short corduroy skirt

Fall is finally in full swing (minus the hot, hot temps here in SWVA) so it's time to talk corduroy! I actually saw some corduroy skirts this summer but for me, it's a fabric that feels better when it gets cool outside. Great for in-between temps when you can still show a little leg but long sleeve and suede booties are appropriate. And OH! these suede booties are SO good (tts, very comfy)!

How To Wear Light Colors During Fall

This post contains affiliate links.

I'm so excited to share today's look with all of you! My photographer and I were finally able to take photos of seven outfits this past Friday so I finally have lots of new blog content to share. A break from the rain thank goodness! We had a low 70's overcast day and it was literally perfect. The last couple of shoots I've sweat spray tan all over everything changing outfits in the car OR gave myself frostbite from shooting Spring looks in 30-degree temps (yes, this actually happened haha).

Today's look is a great transitional pairing from Summer to finally Fall. AND you can keep wearing ivory/white/cream while still keeping things seasonally appropriate. A great way to wear lighter colors in Autumn and Winter is to think texture and material. Suedes, thicker knits, detailing like balloon sleeves, wool, quilting etc. paired with a fun print.. all things you'll see in this post!
